ABOUT US

Our vision was to create a space that you might find in the entertainment districts of Portland, Seattle or New York City.  It’s something that you can’t usually find in the suburbs.

We located a 1928-vintage building and spent months transforming it. Our focus on the details shows throughout: The vintage iron table bases, the carpentry and craftsmanship visible in our bar, the restoration of the walls to a true “lathe and plaster” look. Our pictures are from private family collections, from the local museum and from local government agencies and industry. We’re continually adding to the collection, too.

Our music is part of your experience as well. You’ll hear Glen Miller and Count Basie big band sounds, all the talent from the Rat Pack, as well as Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, and July London. You might even hear a little early Smokey Robinson and themes from a 1960s spy movie or two. We spin it with a DJ on Thursdays, and feature it live on Saturdays.
